The Castle Rock Players, Castle Rock's beloved local community theater group since 1997, is providing their acting expertise to the CRFF by doing a performance read of the festival's winning script. You can find out what other projects they having in the works at http://www.CRPlayers.org.
The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce has graciously allowed us to coincide our film festival with their hugely successful Castle Rock ArtFest, which should prove advantageous for both. Douglas County Libraries has been very supportive to us with there facilities and scheduling. This is a great resource for discovering new stories and scripts as well as providing filmmakers with rooms to present their work. Formerly the Colorado Film Commission, the Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media's own Laura Grey will participate in this year's "Tenacity In Independent Film Making" seminar, along with a few other local filmmaking experts.
